Accountant

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements. Monitor internal expenses, operational costs, and budgets. Perform account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding payments. Handle VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations. Assist with corporate tax preparation and compliance. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Support management with financial analysis and reporting. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in the UAE (mandatory). Experience with VAT filing and UAE Corporate Tax. Experience in commerce and B2B business (trading/wholesale experience preferred). Experience in retail, FMCG, distribution, or e-commerce is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and UAE regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Odoo, SAP, or similar). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Proficiency in English and Arabic. Must be currently based in the UAE.
