Lifting Engineer
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities 1, Lifting Technical Planning & Scheme Preparation: Responsible for compiling, reviewing and optimizing overall lifting construction plans, special lifting procedures, heavy equipment hoisting schemes, rigging plans and crane selection calculations for petrochemical and oilfield construction works. Conduct site survey to confirm lifting radius, load capacity, site bearing capacity, obstacle clearance and working conditions, and formulate targeted technical solutions for conventional and super-heavy lifting operations. 2, Lifting Calculation & Technical Verification: Complete core technical calculations including equipment lifting load calculation, sling tension calculation, crane lifting performance verification, ground pressure calculation, stability check of hoisting objects and temporary support calculation. Verify the rationality of lifting parameters to ensure all technical data meet project design and safety standards. 3, On-site Lifting Supervision & Technical Guidance: Provide full-process technical guidance and on-site supervision for all lifting operations including tower, tank, reactor, pump, pipeline module and steel structure hoisting. Standardize the operation of crane drivers, riggers and signalmen, rectify irregular construction behaviors in a timely manner, and ensure lifting operations are carried out in strict accordance with approved schemes. 4, Equipment & Rigging Management: Inspect and verify the qualification, inspection validity and working condition of all lifting equipment (mobile crane, tower crane, forklift, boom lift) and rigging tools (wire rope, sling, shackle, spreader, balance beam). Establish on-site lifting equipment inspection records, eliminate unqualified tools and equipment, and ensure zero defective equipment participating in lifting operations. 5, Safety Risk Control & Hazard Management: Conduct pre-work risk assessment (JSA) for all lifting activities, identify potential hazards such as overload lifting, unbalanced stress, foundation settlement and obstacle collision, and formulate targeted risk prevention and control measures. Organize pre-lifting safety technical disclosure and daily safety training for lifting team members. 6, Technical Document & Approval Management: Sort out and submit all lifting technical documents, including lifting method statements, calculation sheets, inspection reports, JSA records, lifting permit records and as-built technical data. Cooperate with client, supervision company and third-party inspection institutions for technical review and approval, and ensure complete, standardized and traceable project lifting documents. 7, Emergency Response & Problem Handling: Be on duty during key and heavy lifting operations, respond to on-site technical abnormalities and emergency situations in a timely manner, formulate emergency disposal schemes, and properly handle technical and safety problems encountered in the lifting construction process to avoid construction delays and safety accidents. Desired Candidate Profile 1, Education Background: Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or related engineering majors; technical college background with rich overseas project experience is acceptable. 2, Work Experience: More than 5 years of independent working experience in lifting engineering for petrochemical, oil and gas, or large industrial construction projects; overseas project experience in Middle East is highly preferred; familiar with EPC project lifting management mode. 3, Professional Skills: Proficient in lifting mechanical calculation, crane performance parameter verification, ground bearing capacity calculation and special working condition scheme design; skilled in using related calculation software and office tools; able to independently complete special lifting scheme compilation and technical approval. 4, Language Ability: Good English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, able to independently complete English technical documents, communicate smoothly with foreign clients, supervisors and multinational construction teams.
