EV Service Engineer – Chinese EV & Tesla

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities To provide advanced diagnostics, technical support, and service expertise for Tesla and leading Chinese EV brands. Responsible for ensuring efficient vehicle repairs, resolving complex technical issues, supporting workshop operations, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on EV powertrain, battery, charging, and electronic systems. Analyze and resolve complex technical issues using OEM procedures and diagnostic tools. Support technicians with technical guidance and repair solutions. Conduct vehicle inspections, testing, and quality checks following repairs. Diagnose high-voltage battery and charging system faults. Review technical service bulletins, software updates, and OEM repair procedures. Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and technical support teams when required. Support training and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the workshop. Ensure compliance with safety standards and high-voltage handling procedures. Maintain accurate technical reports, service records, and repair documentation. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. 5+ years of automotive service experience, with hands-on EV diagnostic expertise. Experience working with Tesla and/or Chinese EV brands Strong knowledge of EV architecture, battery systems, charging systems, CAN communication, and vehicle electronics. Proficiency in diagnostic software and fault-finding tools. EV High-Voltage Safety Certification. OEM EV technical training certifications. Experience supporting workshop teams and mentoring technicians.
