Export Manager
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve revenue and market expansion goals. Identify new international markets, distributors, agents, and business partners in the GCC, or markets with high potential in volumes/revenue Manage and grow relationships with existing export clients, distributors, and co-packing parteners. Prepare export sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports. Ensure compliance with international food safety standards and regulations (FDA, HACCP, ISO, Halal, Codex, etc.). Coordinate product registrations, labeling compliance, and documentation for different countries. Stay updated on international trade regulations, customs requirements, and import/export laws. Oversee export documentation including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, health certificates, and shipping documents. Coordinate with production, QA, logistics, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely shipments. Monitor shipping schedules, lead times, and cost optimization. Develop export pricing strategies considering duties, freight, exchange rates, and market competitiveness. Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and Incoterms with international customers. Ensure timely collections and manage export receivables. Collaborate with marketing and R&D teams to adapt products, packaging, and labeling for export markets. Support new product launches in international markets. Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and business meetings. Lead and guide export sales executives or coordinators (if applicable). Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual export performance reports for management. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Food Technology, or a related field. 5–10 years of experience in export sales, preferably in food manufacturing. Strong knowledge of international food regulations and export documentation. Experience in Middle East, Africa, Asia, or Europe export markets Experience handling distributors and overseas clients.
