Consultant Radiologist
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Department: Radiology Reports To: Medical Director / Head of Radiology Department Job Type: Full-Time, Consultant Level Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Radiologist to join our multidisciplinary medical team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting a wide range of medical images, delivering high-quality diagnostic services, and contributing to the continuous improvement of clinical services in compliance with international and UAE healthcare standards. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and report on imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. Ensure accurate diagnosis and timely reporting to referring physicians. Collaborate with other consultants and specialists for integrated patient care. Supervise and provide guidance to junior radiology staff, including registrars and technologists. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings (MDTs), especially in oncology, trauma, and other specialties. Utilize PACS and RIS systems efficiently for reporting and workflow. Engage in quality assurance and continuous medical education (CME) activities. Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and clinical best practices. May be involved in interventional procedures depending on expertise and department setup. Qualifications: Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution. Postgraduate qualification in Radiology (e.g., MD,FRCR, ABR, FFR, or equivalent). Minimum 8–10 years of post-specialist qualification experience, preferably including some Gulf or international experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
