Civil Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities The Senior Civil Engineer is responsible for the technical and functional aspects of civil engineering work in waterproofing projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and coordination across departments. Key Tasks: Plan and execute waterproofing and civil works at project sites. Interpret and implement technical drawings and specifications. Supervise site operations and ensure technical compliance. Coordinate between various trades and subcontractors. Inspect ongoing work and ensure adherence to quality standards. Assist in preparing method statements and work procedures. Resolve on-site technical issues in real-time. Ensure safety compliance and adherence to best practices on-site. Monitor project progress and prepare site reports. Coordinate the material and equipment needed. Attend site meetings and coordinate with consultants. Prepare daily progress and incident reports. Ensure timely execution of scheduled tasks. Conduct quality checks and oversee testing processes. Assist in preparing work schedules and manpower planning. Support project planning and progress tracking. Communicate technical instructions to foremen and workers. Participate in design reviews and modifications. Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance. Liaise with project management for planning updates. Perform any additional duties as requested by the line manager. QA/QC Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management. To undertake any additional responsibilities or duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or manager, in a manner commensurate with the position. Desired Candidate Profile Essential Skills and Qualifications: College degree or equivalent. Civil engineering background. Knowledge of financial reporting. 7+ years of experience. Preferable Skills and Qualifications: Computer Skills. Business development knowledge.
