Route Sales Representative
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Drive and operate company delivery trucks (3–7 ton) safely and efficiently in assigned routes across the UAE. Deliver products to customers on time while ensuring excellent customer service. Load, unload, and handle products, including lifting and carrying 20 kg water bottles (5-gallon) and cartons as required. Visit assigned customers daily and ensure all deliveries are completed as per route plans. Generate sales from existing customers and identify opportunities to acquire new customers within the assigned territory. Collect payments and ensure timely settlement of all sales transactions. Maintain accurate records of sales, collections, and deliveries. Reconcile daily truck stock and ensure there are no discrepancies between vehicle inventory and warehouse records. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and route activity reports as required. Monitor competitor activities and provide regular market feedback to management. Ensure compliance with company policies, road safety regulations, and health & safety procedures. Report any accidents, injuries, vehicle issues, unsafe conditions, or customer concerns immediately. Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle at all times. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Route Sales Representative, Delivery Driver, or similar role, preferably within the bottled water industry, FMCG sector, or Home & Office Delivery (HOD) operations. Must hold a valid UAE Driving License (Category 3 – Light Vehicle). Heavy Vehicle Driving License is an added advantage. Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and customer locations. Proven experience in direct sales, route selling, cash handling, and collections. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Physically fit and able to lift and carry water bottles and cartons regularly. Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions. Basic numerical and reporting skills with attention to accuracy. Ability to work independently, manage daily routes efficiently, and meet sales and delivery targets.
