Site Engineer-Fire Alarm

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Monitor, coordinate, and supervise the site activities for ELV system like Fire Alarm System(FAS), VESDA(Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus), PAVA(Public Address and Voice Alarm), CBS(Central Battery System), CMS(Central Monitoring System) Make sure installation is done as per approved shop drawings, method statements and as per the company's QHSE policy. Preparation, submission & attending inspection of WIR’s & MIR’s with QC & consultant. Submission of daily & weekly progress reports to superiors Day-to-day labor distribution according to open work fronts, in coordination with site supervisors, in-charges, and foremen. Attending Civil Defence inspections. Attending site meetings with clients along with superiors Monitoring materials stock at sites and initiating materials requests. Coordinating testing and commissioning activities and providing advice on testing and commissioning procedures and documentation. Undertaking testing and commissioning activities in line with the specified site requirements. Monitoring progress, recording all test results, witnessing final testing and acceptance of equipment, and compilation of all documentation for inclusion in the site tests and handing over. Ensuring the safe testing and commissioning of completed installations to achieve the necessary system/plant performance in accordance with project programme requirements and specifications. Conducting Client training on the systems at the project location for project handover and closure. Maintain accurate project records and monitor the performance of equipment, notifying engineers of recurring problems. Monitors the performance of existing electronic systems and identifies potential issues and modifications in design or reports on technical matters to the relevant stakeholders. Material coordination for projects with the leaders and within the organization to ensure smooth workflow and execution of projects assigned from time to time Desired Candidate Profile 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Excellent knowledge in ELV Systems like FAS, VESDA, PAVA, CBS and CMS. Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
