Electrical Site Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily site activities for 33kV/11kV/LV distribution network maintenance and emergency repair works Ensure all switching operations, isolations, and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures are carried out safely and in accordance with NEDC Electrical Safety Rules (ESR) Supervise field teams including foremen, linemen, and cable jointers Coordinate with NEDC engineers and District Engineers on work progress, outages, and approvals Monitor material requirements, tools, and equipment availability on site Maintain accurate daily progress reports, work completion records, and HSE documentation Ensure compliance with HSE plans, toolbox talks, and incident reporting Liaise with NEDC for switching programmes and authorization processes Support preparation of monthly progress and HSE reports for submission to NEDC Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Minimum 3–5 years of relevant site experience in electrical distribution network operations and maintenance Mandatory: Valid CEP (Certified Electrical Personnel) License Mandatory: Prior work experience with Nama Electricity Distribution Company (NEDC) or any Nama Group entity Sound knowledge of 33kV, 11kV, and LV distribution networks — overhead lines, underground cables, substations, and switchgear Experience with switching operations, PTW systems, and ESR compliance Familiarity with NEDC authorization procedures and DCRP requirements Valid Oman driving license preferred Good command of English (spoken and written); Arabic is an advantage Employment Type Full Time Company Industry Power GenerationPower DistributionEnergyNuclear Energy Department / Functional Area Engineering Keywords Technical DocumentationPower Systems EngineerAutoCADSite CoordinationElectrical SupervisorTroubleshootingSite Electrical CoordinatorElectrical EngineerElectrical InstallationSite EngineerProject Electrical Engineer Get real-time job updates only on our App
