Planning & Cost Control Manager
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Lead and manage all planning, scheduling, and cost control activities across engineering and construction projects. Establish and maintain project master schedules, baselines, milestones, and resource plans using Primavera P6. Monitor project progress against approved schedules and budgets and identify potential delays or cost overruns. Develop recovery plans and corrective actions to ensure project objectives are achieved. Manage project cost control processes, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring. Prepare and present weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and KPI reports to senior management. Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Project Management teams to ensure alignment of project plans. Review engineering deliverables and construction activities to ensure consistency with project schedules. Lead PMO governance activities, project controls procedures, and reporting standards. Conduct schedule risk analysis, delay analysis, and performance assessments. Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) and other project performance measurement techniques. Support project managers in resource planning, workload distribution, and project execution strategies. Review contractors' schedules, progress reports, claims, and recovery programs. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company procedures, and project control standards. Support management in strategic planning, decision-making, and portfolio performance reporting. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is mandatory. Minimum 10 years of experience in Planning, Cost Control, and Project Controls. Minimum 5 years of PMO experience. Strong engineering background with hands-on experience in engineering and construction projects. Proven experience in EPC, High Voltage Transmission Lines (OHTL), Power, Energy, or Infrastructure Projects. Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and project reporting. Experience in project governance, PMO processes, and performance management. Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
