Junior Planning Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using advanced scheduling software to ensure timely project delivery. Assist in preparation of construction schedule for the tendering purpose. Develop the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Assist in preparation of master project construction program in Primavera P6, Baseline Schedule and get approval from clients/consultants for new jobs and take the approval from consultant /client. Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to gather and analyze data for resource allocation and optimization. Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports to communicate updates to stakeholders effectively. Participate in project meetings, providing insights on scheduling challenges and potential solutions to keep projects on track. Collect daily/weekly progress data from site teams. Analyze deviations from baseline and determine reasons for delays. Prepare the recovery schedules. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, providing a solid foundation for the role. 2-5 years of experience in planning or scheduling within the construction or engineering industry, demonstrating practical knowledge. Familiarity with project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, enabling effective schedule creation. Certifications like PMP or CAPM are advantageous, showcasing commitment to professional development in planning.
