Fabrication Supervisor

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily fabrication and workshop operations to ensure production targets are achieved. Lead, motivate, and manage fabrication personnel, welders, fitters, and workshop staff. Monitor fabrication activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Review and interpret technical drawings, fabrication details, and production schedules. Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment. Coordinate with production, engineering, quality, and project teams to maintain workflow efficiency. Conduct regular inspections to ensure fabrication work meets required standards and project specifications. Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workshop. Identify production issues and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and quality. Prepare daily progress reports and monitor fabrication schedules to ensure timely completion of work. Maintain workshop discipline and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Desired Candidate Profile Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in steel fabrication, structural steel, metal works, or a related manufacturing environment. Proven experience supervising fabrication workshops and production teams. Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes, welding methods, cutting, fitting, and assembly techniques. Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings. Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production reporting. UAE experience will be an added advantage. Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods are preferred.
