HVAC Technician

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems. Perform fault finding and repairs on: Split Air Conditioning Units Ducted Split Units Cassette Air Conditioning Units VRV/VRF Systems Package Units Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC equipment. Have sound knowledge of chiller system operation and associated components. Carry out installation, testing, commissioning, and startup of new HVAC systems. Inspect HVAC systems and identify mechanical, electrical, and control-related faults. Repair and replace defective components such as compressors, motors, contactors, capacitors, thermostats, sensors, expansion valves, and control devices. Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and HVAC layouts. Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and company procedures. Prepare service reports and maintenance records. Respond to emergency breakdown calls and perform timely repairs. Coordinate with supervisors and clients regarding maintenance activities and system performance. Desired Candidate Profile ITI/Diploma/Technical Certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and installation. Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical and control systems. Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs independently. Experience with split, ducted split, cassette, VRV/VRF, package units, and chiller systems. Ability to install, test, and commission new HVAC equipment. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
