Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Title: Senior Planning Engineer Company: Shafa Group Location: Iraq Project Duration: 04 to 06 Months Mobilization: Within 20–30 days Must be ready to relocate to Iraq About the Role Shafa Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our prestigious project in Ethiopia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning, scheduling, and control for large-scale infrastructure projects ( Offshore and Onshore) and residential, commercial, and fit-out projects in GCC or international markets. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project. Prepare detailed work programs, resource allocation plans, and progress monitoring reports. Coordinate closely with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to align with project deliverables. Implement cost control, budgeting, and forecasting measures. Track materials, manpower, and equipment to ensure timely project execution. Prepare recovery plans and mitigation strategies for project delays. Ensure compliance with project timelines, quality, and client requirements. Desired Candidate Profile Experience: 10–15 years in planning and scheduling of large-scale construction projects. Education: Btech or BE in Civil Expertise: Strong skills in project controls, scheduling, reporting, and forecasting. Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of civil Infra projects, architectural, interior fit-out, and MEP works. Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Availability: Immediate joiners preferred (notice period max 20–30 days). Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Iraq for the duration of the project.
