Field Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities The role On-site data centre and telecom field work across the Emirates, engaged either via a valid freelance permit or as a sponsored full-time hire. What you'll do Rack, stack, cable and commission servers, switches and network hardware Structured copper and fibre cabling — patching, testing, labelling First-line maintenance, break-fix and hardware swaps to SLA Site surveys, audits, decommissioning and asset recovery Document each job via photos, completion reports and ticketing Desired Candidate Profile Hands-on data centre / telecom field experience in the UAE Comfortable with work orders, runbooks and rack elevations Own tools and reliable transport to site Freelancers must hold a valid UAE freelance permit/licence; full-time applicants should hold or be eligible for residency/work visa sponsorship Certifications a plus: CompTIA, BICSI, Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet, fibre splicing Locations Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah [and other Emirates as needed] Employment Type Full Time Company Industry TelecomISP Department / Functional Area Engineering Keywords InstallationDiagnosticsMaintenanceTroubleshootingCustomer ServiceService Engineer Get real-time job updates only on our App
