Minimum Experience: 8–12 years of experience in structural technical office roles with main contractors. Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in structural shop drawings, consultant coordination, and CDE document control within the UAE/GCC. Proven hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit Structure (LOD 300–400), Navisworks Manage, and Autodesk ACC / BIM 360 / Aconex on projects of AED 100M+ contract value is mandatory. Demonstrated experience in high-rise RC structures, PT slab systems, transfer structures, deep foundations, and core wall systems. Candidates who list Revit or BIM only in a skills section without Technical Office BIM governance evidence in their career history will not be shortlisted. 3. Technical Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): Expert proficiency — mandatory: Autodesk Revit Structure (construction-stage modelling, LOD 300–400), Navisworks Manage (clash detection and BCF management), Autodesk ACC / BIM 360 (CDE governance, document control, and model coordination). Advanced proficiency: AutoCAD (structural detailing and 2D drawing production), Tekla Structures (advantageous for rebar and steel connection detailing). CDE platform proficiency: Autodesk ACC / BIM 360, Aconex, Asite, or equivalent — mandatory for document submission workflows and approval tracking. Comprehensive knowledge: ISO 19650-1 and -2, BEP governance, LOD matrix, CDE naming conventions, BCF issue management, IFC data exchange, and COBie data requirements. Expert structural engineering knowledge: reinforced concrete design, PT slab systems, rebar detailing, formwork and sequencing, PT stressing procedures, and transfer structure design. Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making skills with the ability to identify structural coordination risks early and propose solutions before they impact the programme. Ability to manage multiple deliverable workstreams simultaneously — shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, BIM updates, and CDE document control — under programme pressure. Commercial awareness related to structural variations, procurement lead times, material cost implications, and programme impact of design changes.
