Senior Accountant

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial reporting, supporting month-end close processes, and providing strategic financial insights to leadership. Key Responsibilities Manage the full month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy across all accounts Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions and resolve discrepancies Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards and internal financial policies Liaise with external auditors and support the annual audit process Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement efficiencies Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff Prepare tax filings and support regulatory reporting requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification (preferred) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting standards Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines Effective communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders Desired Candidate Profile See above Employment Type Full Time Company Industry Accounting & Auditing Department / Functional Area AccountsTaxationAuditCompany Secretary Keywords Financial ReportingSenior Financial AccountantFinancial AnalysisLead AccountantReconciliationsSenior Finance Analyst Get real-time job updates only on our App
