Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Title: Construction Manager Company: Desert Man Transporting and Contracting Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Construction / Civil Engineering / Infrastructure Job Summary Desert Man Transporting and Contracting is seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from planning through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary. Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, contractual requirements, and company policies. Lead site teams and supervise engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and productivity standards are maintained. Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Prepare progress reports and present project updates to management and clients. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 10–15 years of construction industry experience, with at least 5 years in a Construction Manager role. Proven experience managing building, infrastructure, or civil construction projects in the UAE. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management principles, and local regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project teams. Proficiency in MS Office, Primavera P6, and project management software. UAE driving license preferred. Preferred Qualifications PMP certification is an advantage. Experience working on government, commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects in the UAE.
