SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and intercompany transactions. Ensure timely processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and journal entries. Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations. Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting activities. Review and verify invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting documents. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. Minimum 5–10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably in Qatar or the GCC region. Strong knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, taxation, and financial reporting. Experience in handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger functions.
