Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies to ensure accurate records. Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders to maintain product integrity. Organize and store products efficiently, ensuring optimal use of storage space while facilitating easy access for fast retrieval. Prepare and issue materials for production or sales operations while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and disposals for auditing purposes. Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast inventory needs and avoid stockouts or excesses. Implement best practices for inventory management, utilizing technology and software tools to streamline processes. Train and supervise junior staff on inventory handling practices and safety protocols to foster a productive work environment. Conduct regular maintenance of storage facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety, minimizing hazards for all employees. Generate reports on inventory performance and trends to assist management in making informed decisions. Desired Candidate Profile Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills to efficiently track stock levels. High School Diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in supply chain management is a plus. Certification in inventory management or warehousing (e.g., APICS, CILT) is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods, demonstrating physical stamina and endurance. Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional language is an advantage for diverse team interactions. Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail to minimize errors and ensure accuracy. Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and external partners clearly and professionally. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
