Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Title: Head of Supply Chain & Global Logistics or Global Supply Chain Operations Manager Location: Dubai, UAE Department: Supply Chain Experience: Minimum 8+ years in international supply chain & logistics management Languages: Native Mandarin & Fluent English Salary Range: AED 15000 – 22000 per month (USD 5000-6000) Bonus Range: 20-30% Increment Range: 8-15% Reports to: Managing Director / CEO Direct Reports: Dubai Supply Chain Team - Logistics Executives, Documentation Officers & Order Processing Coordinators QC Coordinators (India & China – dotted line reporting) Country/Regional Heads of Import Operations (functional oversight) --- Role Overview He/She will lead and oversee the entire end-to-end international supply chain operations across China, India, Dubai, and African import markets. This role will act as the central control tower for sourcing, quality control, logistics coordination, order processing, shipment clearance monitoring, and strategic reorder planning. The Dubai supply team will report directly to this position. --- Strategic Impact of This Role in Your Business For your type of trading company this person becomes: · Your supply chain command center · Risk control mechanism · QC controller · Cost optimizer · Shipment delay reducer · And long-term scaling pillar --- Key Responsibilities Strategic Supply Chain Leadership · Oversee complete end-to-end supply chain operations from supplier to final import destination. · Act as functional head of logistics and import coordination. · Develop supply chain strategy to ensure timely product availability across markets. Supplier & Sourcing Coordination (China & India) · Coordinate orders, production planning, and quality control procedures with supply offices. · Oversee QC teams to ensure compliance with specifications and checklists. · Ensure adherence to agreed standards, specifications, packaging, labeling, port instructions and documentation. Dubai Operations Control · Supervise Dubai-based supply team. · Ensure all orders are processed accurately and on time. · Validate shipping instructions, specifications, and documentation prior to dispatch. · Monitor container planning and shipment scheduling. Import & Clearing Coordination (Africa Markets) · Coordinate with on-ground import teams for: o Clearing status o Shipment tracking o Claims handling o Feedback reporting · Resolve shipment discrepancies and manage supplier claims. Reorder Planning & Supply Strategy · Work with import teams to forecast demand. · Plan reorder cycles considering clearing timelines and port delays. · Optimize lead times and working capital efficiency. Quality Control Oversight · Supervise QC processes in China, India, and import destinations. · Establish SOPs for inspection and compliance. · Ensure product consistency across markets.
