Logistics Dispatcher

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Dispatcher to coordinate and manage daily transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling drivers, monitoring deliveries, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely movement of goods while maintaining excellent communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, and equipment to meet delivery requirements. Monitor vehicle movements and delivery status using GPS tracking systems. Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance. Communicate with drivers regarding route changes, traffic updates, and customer requirements. Maintain accurate dispatch records, trip reports, and delivery documentation. Resolve transportation issues, delays, and customer concerns in a timely manner. Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth logistics operations. Track fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, and driver performance. Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and safety standards. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. Desired Candidate Profile Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatching, or fleet coordination. Experience using GPS tracking, dispatch software, or transportation management systems (TMS). Strong communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good knowledge of UAE roads and transportation regulations is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Preferred Skills: Route planning and optimization. Fleet management.
