Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Duty and Responsibility: Camp Utilities & Infrastructure Management Tasks: Manage temporary power supply, water supply, drainage and sewage systems. Coordinate installation of MDB, SMDB, DB and power distribution systems. Supervise HVAC, water heater, fire alarm and ELV system installations. Coordinate TAQA energization and related inspections. Ensure camp MEP facilities comply with ADCD, Municipality and project requirements. Duty and Responsibility: MEP Construction Management Tasks: Manage on-site Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) construction activities. Execute MEP works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements. Coordinate MEP subcontractors, suppliers and site workforce. Monitor construction quality, safety and schedule compliance. Identify and resolve site construction issues in a timely manner. Ensure MEP works comply with local regulations, consultant and client requirements. Duty and Responsibility: Site Coordination & Supervision Tasks: Coordinate MEP activities with civil, structural and other disciplines. Attend coordination meetings and follow up assigned action items. Verify work-front readiness and allocate required resources. Assist in preparation of construction schedules and monitor implementation. Coordinate material delivery, equipment installation and site logistics. Prepare and submit daily, weekly and progress reports. Duty and Responsibility: Quality Management Tasks: Ensure MEP works comply with specifications, drawings and project quality standards. Conduct material inspections and installation quality checks. Coordinate with QA/QC engineers for inspections and testing activities. Prepare and submit WIRs, MIRs and inspection requests. Follow up corrective actions, punch list items and consultant comments. Participate in pre-commissioning and final handover inspections. Duty and Responsibility: Testing, Commissioning & Handover Tasks: Prepare testing and commissioning plans for MEP systems. Coordinate equipment testing and system commissioning activities. Monitor testing records and ensure timely rectification of issues. Coordinate with consultants, clients and third-party inspectors for approvals. Prepare and submit as-built documentation and O&M manuals. Support project handover and defect liability period activities. Duty and Responsibility: Material & Cost Control Tasks: Prepare material requisitions and monitor procurement status. Verify material specifications, quantities and technical requirements. Monitor material consumption and construction costs. Support RFQ evaluation, technical review and supplier coordination. Assist QS in quantity verification and variation management. Provide site data for progress claims and cost analysis. Duty and Responsibility: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Management Tasks: Implement project HSE requirements and company safety procedures. Conduct safety inspections within MEP work areas. Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment. Identify work hazards and implement mitigation measures. Support HSE training and safety campaigns. Report incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions promptly. Duty and Responsibility: Engineering Documentation & Technical Coordination Tasks: Review MEP drawings, technical documents and specifications, and ensure proper site implementation. Identify drawing discrepancies and prepare RFIs and technical clarifications. Coordinate design changes, site instructions and technical issue resolution. Prepare and update Method Statements and related technical documents. Review As-Built Drawings and maintain project documentation. Coordinate with Document Control for submission, tracking and filing of MEP documents. Duty and Responsibility: Progress Monitoring & Planning Tasks: Prepare MEP construction schedules in line with the master project schedule. Monitor actual MEP progress and analyze schedule variances. Coordinate manpower, materials and equipment resources to meet schedule requirements. Identify schedule risks and recommend corrective actions. Attend progress meetings and report MEP construction status. Assist the Construction / Project Manager in preparing weekly, monthly and recovery schedules.
