Quantity Surveyor (Pre & Post Contract)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities The Quantity Surveyor manages the cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control for roads projects, including earthworks, pavement layers, drainage systems, and signage. They track costs and variations to ensure the project remains within budget. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed bills of quantities for earthworks, paving, drainage, and signage. Develop initial project cost estimates based on design drawings. Monitor ongoing costs, evaluate variations, and manage claims related to changes in scope. Conduct cost analysis for different construction methods and materials. Prepare financial reports, including progress payments and final accounts. Liaise with contractors and suppliers regarding contractual and financial matters. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is essential. Minimum 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a strong focus on road construction projects.
