Production Supervisor

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production teams to ensure efficient and effective operations. Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational efficiency. Implement and monitor production schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet changing demands and deadlines. Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain product standards and mitigate any defects. Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements for increased efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production goals with business objectives and resource allocation. Manage inventory levels, ensuring timely procurement of materials to prevent production delays. Lead safety meetings and promote a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and optimize production efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. Prepare production reports and communicate performance updates to management. Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of materials and supplies. Collaborate with other departments to address production issues and ensure smooth workflow. Desired Candidate Profile Diploma/ B tech graduate (mechanical or automobile) Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, providing a strong foundation in production principles. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment, demonstrating hands-on expertise. Certifications such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing are highly preferred, showcasing commitment to quality and efficiency. Experience in a specific industry, such as automotive or pharmaceuticals, to understand unique production challenges. Technical skills in using production management software and understanding of machinery operation for hands-on oversight. Experience in handling a team at production. 1 to 2 years UAE experience. Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control systems, and safety regulations. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical solutions.
