Job Description Roles & Responsibilities About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in UAE Corporate Tax, VAT compliance, accounting, and financial reporting, and will support a portfolio of clients across various industries. Key Responsibilities Prepare and file UAE Corporate Tax registrations and tax returns. Prepare and review VAT registrations, VAT returns, amendments, and deregistration. Assist in tax assessments, tax computations, and tax advisory assignments. Maintain accounting records and perform bookkeeping activities for assigned clients. Review financial statements and management reports. Reconcile bank accounts, receivables, payables, and general ledger balances. Support audit engagements and coordinate with external auditors. Assist clients with FTA queries, tax audits, and compliance requirements. Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations and reporting deadlines. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Liaise with clients regarding accounting and tax-related matters. Assist in AML compliance reviews and regulatory reporting where required. Desired Candidate Profile Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent qualification. Experience working in an accounting, tax, or consultancy firm in the UAE. Knowledge of AML compliance and UAE regulatory requirements is an advantage. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax and UAE tax compliance. Good understanding of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT regulations. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, or similar platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple client assignments and meet deadlines.
