Site Engineer (Civil + MEP)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Site Engineer to join our project delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, timelines, and UAE construction standards. Experience in real estate and hospitality projects will be a strong advantage. Desired Candidate Profile Execution & Supervision: Oversee day-to-day site activities to ensure construction works are carried out as per approved drawings and specifications. Monitor progress against project schedules and report delays or risks to the Project Manager. Ensure compliance with project quality standards, safety regulations, and UAE construction codes. Construction Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution. Attend site meetings and provide technical input and progress updates. Liaise with consultants for inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications. Quality Control & Compliance: Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures on site. Conduct regular inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented where required. Ensure all works comply with approved method statements and material submittals. Drawings & Technical Support: Review construction drawings and resolve site-level technical issues. Prepare and submit RFIs, shop drawings, and as-built documentation as required. Support value engineering initiatives without compromising quality or compliance. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies and site safety procedures. Identify potential hazards and ensure preventive measures are implemented on site. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and inspection records. Support project close-out documentation and handover processes. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field. 5–8 years of relevant UAE experience as a Site Civil Engineer. Strong hands-on experience in construction contract administration aligned with Dubai statutory codes, DSC standards, and Dubai Municipality (DM) regulations. Proven experience in real estate projects; hospitality project exposure is a strong plus. Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, local authority regulations, and building codes. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Office and basic construction software/tools. Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage. Immediate joiners or candidates available within 2 weeks of preferred.
