Nursery Manager
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Manage end-to-end nursery projects from planning to completion. Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and ensure customer satisfaction. Lead meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. Prepare project schedules, progress reports, and management presentations. Monitor project budgets, costs, invoicing, and financial performance. Ensure timely procurement and availability of nursery materials, plants, and resources. Supervise nursery operations, maintenance, irrigation, and landscaping activities. Manage project risks and resolve operational challenges effectively. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and HSE regulations. Lead and mentor nursery staff, supervisors, and site teams. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on project progress, financial status, and KPIs. Coordinate with finance, procurement, logistics, and other departments for smooth project execution. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Landscape Management, or a related field. Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is an advantage. Minimum 7–10 years of experience in nursery, landscaping, or horticulture project management. Experience managing large-scale commercial or government landscape projects is preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management. Financial planning, budgeting, and cost control. Strong reporting and presentation skills. Leadership and team management. Negotiation and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication in English (Arabic is an advantage). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software. Knowledge of nursery operations, plant production, irrigation systems, and landscape maintenance. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) On-time project delivery. Client satisfaction and retention. Budget adherence and cost optimization. Quality compliance and HSE performance. Team productivity and operational efficiency. Accurate and timely financial and project reporting.
