Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Senior Accountant Desert Man Transporting & Contracting LLC (DMTC) Abu Dhabi, UAE Job Summary Desert Man Transporting & Contracting LLC (DMTC), a leading construction, transportation, and infrastructure company in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in construction, contracting, infrastructure projects, heavy equipment, and transportation operations, with excellent knowledge of UAE accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations, general ledger, and financial reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability analysis. Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and statutory requirements. Prepare management reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial analysis. Coordinate with auditors and support annual audit activities. Monitor fixed assets, equipment costing, and depreciation schedules. Support budgeting, financial planning, and internal control processes. Ensure ERP data accuracy and process improvements. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, CMA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification is mandatory. Minimum 8–12 years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE. Mandatory experience in: Construction & Contracting Infrastructure / Roads / Pipeline Projects Heavy Equipment & Machinery Operations Transportation & Logistics Strong knowledge of: UAE VAT IFRS Project Costing & Budget Control Financial Reporting & Analysis Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Immediate joiners will be preferred. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 8–12 years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE.
