Junior HVAC Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Assist in the design and drafting of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and equipment layout, ensuring compliance with project specifications and building codes. Support senior engineers in performing load calculations and energy modeling to optimize system performance and efficiency. Conduct site visits to gather information, inspect installations, and troubleshoot issues, documenting findings and recommendations. Prepare technical documentation, such as equipment schedules, submittal reviews, and project reports, with a focus on accuracy and clarity. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution. Possession of an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is highly preferred. 0-2 years of relevant internship or co-op experience in HVAC design or mechanical systems. Familiarity with HVAC industry standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, and local building codes.
