Planning Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are hiring a Planning Engineer to handle project scheduling, monitoring, and reporting for construction and industrial projects in Saudi Arabia. You will make sure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all contract requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 (Level 1–3, look-ahead) Prepare WBS, critical path analysis, and resource-loaded schedules Track daily, weekly, and monthly site progress against the approved baseline Spot delays early and prepare recovery or acceleration plans Produce progress reports (DPR, WPR, MPR), S-Curves, and KPI dashboards Coordinate with Project Managers, site teams, procurement, and subcontractors Support EOT claims, variation orders, and schedule impact assessments Prepare manpower histograms and equipment plans Assist in project close-out and handover documentation Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering 4–6 years of experience as a Planning Engineer Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia Strong skills in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel Background in EPC, steel structure, industrial, or oil & gas projects Knowledge of EOT claims and contract procedures Saudi Aramco or SABIC project experience is a plus Power BI or BIM knowledge is an advantage CERTIFICATIONS (PREFERRED) PMP or PSP (AACE) Primavera P6 Certification SCE – Saudi Council of Engineers Registration OSHA / NEBOSH INDUSTRY Steel Structure | PEB | Industrial | Oil & Gas | EPC | Building Construction | Site Execution Employment Type Full Time Company Industry MetalsSteelIronAluminiumFabrication Department / Functional Area Engineering Keywords Primavera P6Project SchedulingBaseline ScheduleRecovery ScheduleLook Ahead PlanCritical Path MethodCPMPEBSteel StructureErection PlanningWeeklEarned Value ManagementWIRMIRNCRCSWIP Get real-time job updates only on our App
