Construction Manager-Infrastructure
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for infrastructure projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Develop and implement project execution plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and procurement strategies, to optimize project delivery and minimize risks. Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, subcontractors, and other construction professionals, providing clear direction, motivation, and performance management. Manage and control project budgets, including cost estimation, cost tracking, and financial reporting, to ensure projects remain financially viable. Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality control procedures throughout the construction process. Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and other technical documentation, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry best practices. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies, fostering strong relationships and addressing project-related issues promptly. Identify and mitigate potential project risks, including delays, cost overruns, and safety hazards, implementing proactive solutions to minimize their impact. Prepare and submit regular progress reports, documenting project status, performance metrics, and any challenges encountered. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in infrastructure construction projects, showcasing a proven track record of successful project delivery. Proven ability to effectively manage and lead large teams of construction professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, stakeholders, and project teams. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and environmental sustainability.
