Cashier
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities · Accurately process cash, cheque, and card payments from customers for vehicle services, parts, and sales. · Ensure all receipts, invoices, and payment records are correctly issued and documented. · Arrange and prepare bank deposits in compliance with company policies. · Close job cards promptly and ensure proper financial documentation. · Maintain accurate records of all transactions for auditing and reporting purposes. · Prepare and submit ad hoc reports, financial statements, and any other required documentation as needed. · Follow all financial guidelines and compliance measures to prevent fraud or errors. · Provide professional, friendly, and efficient service to customers to enhance their experience. · Address customer queries related to payments, invoices, and financial transactions in a timely and helpful manner. · Collaborate with the finance and service teams to ensure seamless processing of transactions. · Support dealership operations with administrative tasks as required. · Ensure adherence & compliance to policies, procedures, standards, Health & Safety requirements, ethical code of conduct & values. Key Accountabilities: · Accuracy and timeliness of financial records and reports. · Maintain cash flow records, balance daily transactions, and reconcile discrepancies. · Compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. · Efficiency in completing month-end and year-end closing processes. · Support provided during audits with minimal findings. · Provide excellent customer service, maintaining the financial standards required to meet the business objectives. · Maintain goodwill and long-term loyalty of customers and partners through excellent service. · Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional development. Desired Candidate Profile · High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (additional certification in finance or accounting is a plus). · Prior experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred. · Basic knowledge of cash handling and transaction processing. · 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the automotive or luxury brand sector. · Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. · Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic office software (e.g., MS Excel).
