Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking a highly driven and field-tested Construction Manager to direct the on-site physical execution of our Saudi Aramco pipeline projects. This role requires a dynamic construction leader responsible for driving daily production, managing heavy equipment logistics, and leading multidisciplinary site teams across vast geographical spreads. The successful candidate will oversee the project from Right-of-Way (ROW) clearing through to mechanical completion and pre-commissioning, ensuring all construction milestones are met safely, ahead of schedule, within budget, and in total compliance with Saudi Aramco’s rigorous standards. Role & Responsibilities: Site Execution Leadership: Direct and optimize daily field construction operations, overseeing earthworks, piping, welding, structural, and E&I crews to maximize productivity and maintain project momentum. Progress & Schedule Driving: Partner closely with the Project Manager and Planning Engineers to track daily progress against the master schedule, dynamically reallocating manpower and heavy equipment fleets to bypass site bottlenecks. Aramco Technical Alignment: Supervise all execution phases to ensure full compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES) and project drawings, proactively preparing site areas for scheduled QA/QC inspections. Interface & Subcontractor Coordination: Manage and synchronize specialized subcontractors (such as NDT, field joint coating, or horizontal directional drilling teams) to ensure seamless, sequential pipeline progression. Safety & Work Permit Ownership: Enforce a strict "zero incidents" culture on the line. Ensure total compliance with the Saudi Aramco Work Permit System (PTW), heavy lifting plans, and deep trenching safety protocols. Resource & Logistics Logistics: Coordinate the complex supply chain of materials, stringing logistics, and fuel/water distribution across remote pipeline corridors and camp setups. Progress Reporting: Generate accurate daily and weekly construction logs, resource utilization summaries, and site barrier reports for project leadership and client representatives. Requirements: Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil preferred) or equivalent structural/piping technical background. Aramco Approval: Must possess a valid, prior Saudi Aramco approval as a Construction Manager, with a strong field reputation with Aramco site representatives (SAPMT). Experience: Minimum 12–15+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector, with a heavy emphasis on cross-country pipeline construction, including at least 5–8 years in a direct site management or superintendent capacity. Technical Background: Extensive experience managing cross-country spreads, technical tie-ins, valve station constructions, and hydrostatic testing procedures under Aramco Safety GIs. Technical Skills: Proficient in interpreting complex alignment sheets, isometric drawings, and micro-scheduling tools; fluent in standard MS Office applications. Desired Candidate Profile Leadership: Strong, commanding leadership style capable of mobilizing and motivating large, culturally diverse workforces and equipment operators in harsh field environments. Standards Expertise: Thoroughly conversant with Saudi ARAMCO Engineering Standards (SAES) related to piping fabrication, pipeline construction, welding, and safety protocols. Multidisciplinary Knowledge: Deep technical mastery of the sequential pipeline life cycle: ROW clearing, grading, trenching, stringing, bending, mainline welding, field joint coating (FJC), lowering-in, backfilling, hydrotesting, and geometric pigging. Communication: Clear, decisive verbal and written communication skills to bridge the gap between remote field execution, client inspectors, and corporate project management. Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, and experienced with digital material-tracking tools and daily progress reporting systems.
