Civil Engineer - BESS

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Lead the structural design and analysis of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Develop and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for BESS foundations, containment structures, and ancillary buildings. Manage the site selection and geotechnical investigation process for BESS projects, interpreting soil reports and recommending appropriate foundation solutions. Oversee the construction phase of BESS civil works, providing technical guidance, resolving site issues, and ensuring adherence to design intent. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution. Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with at least 2 years focused on energy infrastructure projects. Proven experience in the design and construction of foundations, reinforced concrete structures, and earthworks.
