Site Engineer - Joinery

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Supervise and monitor joinery installation activities on-site, ensuring work is executed according to approved drawings and project specifications. Coordinate with the project management team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of joinery works. Ensure quality control by inspecting the joinery installations, identifying defects or issues, and coordinating corrective actions. Liaise with the factory to track the production and delivery of joinery items, ensuring materials are available on-site as per project timelines. Resolve on-site technical issues related to joinery works, collaborating with the factory and design teams when necessary. Prepare and maintain site reports, including daily progress reports, material usage, and manpower deployment. Ensure that safety regulations are strictly followed on-site, including the use of protective gear and safe work practices during joinery installations. Attending site meetings to provide updates on the progress of joinery works, addressing any concerns raised by the client or contractor. Review and interpret technical drawings and project documents, ensuring installations align with the design intent and specifications. Assist in preparing method statements and work procedures for joinery installations. Monitor and track project timelines, reporting any delays or deviations to the Project Manager and ensuring timely project completion. Coordinate inspections and handover processes with the client and main contractor, ensuring joinery works meet all contractual and regulatory requirements. Provide technical guidance and support to site teams and subcontractors to ensure accurate and efficient installation processes.
