Software Project Manager

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Talent360 is hiring a Software Project Manager. We are looking for a Software Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering software projects on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate is an expert in software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and cross-functional team leadership. You will serve as the primary point of accountability for project success, balancing technical understanding, business priorities, and stakeholder expectations. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end delivery of software development projects from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and technical leads. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans. Manage cross-functional teams of developers, QA engineers, designers, and business analysts to ensure cohesive execution. Apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate to each engagement. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies. Track project performance using relevant metrics, and reporting tools, and present status updates to stakeholders. Manage scope changes through a structured change-control process. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Minimum of 2 years of project management experience. Proven experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder software projects within a software house or technology environment. Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum and traditional project management frameworks. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, MS Project, or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in a relevant field. Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM). Experience managing distributed or international teams. Familiarity with ERP and SaaS practices.
