Senior Accountant

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking a meticulous, experienced, and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with Indian statutory regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support our business growth. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Accounting Standards. Statutory Compliance: Manage all aspects of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other corporate tax filings accurately and within deadlines. General Ledger Management: Oversee the integrity of the general ledger, perform bank reconciliations, and manage accounts payable/receivable workflows. Audit Support: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors; ensure all documentation is audit-ready. Financial Analysis: Prepare cash flow projections, budget variance reports, and MIS reports to assist management in strategic decision-making. Payroll & Vendor Management: Oversee payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and vendor payment cycles. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring high standards of accuracy and operational efficiency. Desired Candidate Profile Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Finance . Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, ideally within the Indian corporate sector. Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in TallyPrime and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of the Companies Act, GST Act, and Income Tax laws in India. Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to work under strict deadlines.
