Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Description Desert Man Transporting and Contracting is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing infrastructure and construction team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have strong UAE experience in quantity surveying for infrastructure, utilities, and civil construction projects, with excellent knowledge in quantity take-off, cost control, variations, subcontractor billing, and project documentation. Key Responsibilities Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and project documents Monitor project costs, budgets, and material quantities Prepare interim valuations, invoices, and payment certificates Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison sheets Handle variation orders, claims, and cost analysis Coordinate with project engineers, procurement, and planning teams Prepare BOQ, estimation support, and progress reports Verify site measurements and work completed Maintain proper commercial and contractual documentation Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying Minimum 4–7 years of UAE experience as Quantity Surveyor in infrastructure or civil projects Strong experience in utilities, pipelines, roads, and earthworks projects preferred Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and quantity surveying software Good understanding of contracts, BOQ, and project costing Strong communication and reporting skills Filipino nationality preferred Immediate joiners will be given preference Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in: Infrastructure projects Wet utilities Sewerage and potable water networks Roadworks and earthworks Subcontractor management Cost control and variations Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the UAE Employment Type Full Time Company Industry ConstructionCivil Engineering Department / Functional Area Engineering Keywords Quantity SurveyingQSInfrastructureCivil ConstructionUtilitiesRoadsEarthworksWet UtilitiesCost ControlBOQEstimationAbu DhabiUAEFilipino Get real-time job updates only on our App
