Merchandiser – FMCG

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking a proactive and result-oriented Merchandiser -FMCG to join our distribution team in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of retail merchandising experience within the Ras Al Khaimah market, specifically handling FMCG food . The role involves ensuring product availability, maintaining shelf visibility, implementing merchandising standards, and supporting sales growth across assigned retail outlets. Key Responsibilities Visit assigned supermarkets, hypermarkets, groceries, and retail outlets across Ras Al Khaimah. Ensure proper merchandising and shelf display of FMCG food and non-food products. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the sales team for timely replenishment. Implement planograms, promotional displays, and point-of-sale materials. Check product expiry dates and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) practices are followed. Maintain product visibility and maximize shelf share in retail outlets. Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and retail staff. Report stock shortages, competitor activities, and market feedback to the sales team. Prepare daily merchandising reports and outlet visit records. Support sales promotions, launches, and in-store marketing activities. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Merchandiser-FMCG in the Ras Al Khaimah retail market. Experience handling both FMCG food and non-food products. Good knowledge of supermarkets, hypermarkets, and retail outlets in Ras Al Khaimah. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage daily outlet routes efficiently. Male candidates preferred due to the field-based nature of the role. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience with FMCG distributors, wholesalers, or retail chains in the UAE. Knowledge of merchandising standards and retail execution practices.
