CUSTOMER INSIGHTS MANAGER
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities * Internal Job Purpose: To lead and coach a group of top-notch customer insights analysts who are responsible to provide the bank with a better understanding of its customer base using advanced analytics techniques. Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities 1.Help build and lead a strong Customer Insights team to deliver world-class data products 2.Manage development of data resources, gather requirements, organize resources, and support data product launches 3.Work with the various bank stakeholders to ensure that the Customer Insights team is focused on the most valuable analytics opportunities 4.Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineering and others to shape a shared, data-driven strategic vision across the bank 5.Find out patterns and analyse customer behaviour to address business problems and generate actionable insights. 6.Creatively implement / identify appropriate measurement methodologies to understand and assess the performance of different marketing activities (e.g. campaigns, product launch...etc) and their impact on customers. 7.Execute advanced analytics through different customer behaviour analysis techniques, to drive customer value 8.Analyse customer data, through advanced analytics techniques, to identify trends, patterns, and causal analysis to drive business value creation 9.Interpret and translate large and complex datasets into concise easy-to-use insights. 10.Manage the strategic partnerships with Business and Data Engineering teams to solve business problems and identify opportunities for building ready for use data products 11.Strategically manage the communication of results, insights and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders and executive leadership Policies, Processes and Procedures 12.Implement approved department policies, processes, and procedures and monitor adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner Day-to-day Operations 13.Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the Analytics & Data Management department to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures Supervision 14.Supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures Compliance 15.Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks Desired Candidate Profile * Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor s Degree with strong academic performance in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics/Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering etc.) Master's or PhD Degree in a quantitative or business field is a plus 5-8 years of previous work experience in customer insights or advanced analytics related job 3+ years of prior leadership experience Experience in banking industry would be a plus Skills: Highly motivated team leader with strong leadership skills Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills Good leadership and project management skills with experience in leading large projects Strong quantitative analytical capabilities combined with experience in dealing with large and/or complex data Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in advanced analytics and sampling techniques Fair knowledge of programming languages for statistical analysis (SQL/R/Python are preferred) Excellent user of Microsoft Excel Attention to detail, strong computational and critical thinking skills Ability to present complex information in simple terms with clear recommendations Outstanding data interpretation skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced environment, adapt easily to changing situations and demonstrates flexibility in juggling priorities Problem solver with a can do attitude Knowledge of visualization tools (Tableau, etc...) is a plus Company Industry BankingFinancial ServicesBroking Department / Functional Area HelpdeskCustomer ServiceTelecalling Keywords CUSTOMER INSIGHTS MANAGER Get real-time job updates only on our App
