Procurement Manager

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies to support project requirements and business objectives. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, tendering, negotiation, purchase order issuance, and contract administration. Coordinate with Estimation, Projects, Design, Planning, QS, and Finance departments to ensure procurement schedules align with project timelines. Source and negotiate with local and international suppliers to achieve the best value in terms of cost, quality, and delivery. Establish and maintain strong relationships with approved vendors and subcontractors. Evaluate supplier performance and conduct periodic vendor assessments. Ensure materials and services are procured in compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and company standards. Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve procurement-related issues that may impact project progress. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contractual obligations, and relevant UAE regulations. Support project teams during pre-award and post-award stages by providing procurement expertise. Prepare procurement reports, supplier performance reports, and management dashboards. Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental objectives. Continuously identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and operational efficiency. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Professional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS) is an advantage. Minimum of 8–10 years of procurement experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role. Proven experience in the UAE interior fit-out, joinery, construction, or MEP industry. Strong knowledge of local and international sourcing practices.
