Solar Electrician - AC Side

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar PV systems at residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Perform AC-side electrical works, including DB/SMDB terminations, cable laying, and 3-phase connections. Install and commission solar inverters (Deye, Huawei, Sungrow, or similar brands). Carry out CT installation and configuration for zero-export and net metering systems. Install earthing systems and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards. Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and wiring schematics. Test and verify electrical connections before system energization. Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in solar PV systems. Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to complete installations on schedule. Ensure all work complies with UAE electrical regulations and company safety procedures. Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition. Prepare daily work reports and communicate project progress to the supervisor. Travel to project sites across the UAE as required. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 2–5 years of experience in solar PV installations in the UAE. Hands-on experience with AC-side electrical works, including DB/SMDB terminations, 3-phase wiring, cable laying, and earthing. Experience in inverter installation and commissioning (preferably Deye, Huawei, or Sungrow). Knowledge of CT installation, zero-export systems, and net metering. Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams (SLDs). Familiar with UAE electrical safety standards and installation practices. Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage. Must be currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately or within a short notice period. Physically fit and willing to travel across the UAE for project sites. Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
