Merchandiser – FMCG (Non-Food)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking a proactive and result-oriented FMCG Merchandiser (Non-Food) to join our distribution team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have 2–5 years of UAE retail merchandising experience, handling Non-food FMCG products across supermarkets, hypermarkets, and convenience stores. Key Responsibilities Visit assigned retail outlets across Dubai on a daily route plan. Ensure proper product placement, shelf display, and merchandising standards. Maintain stock availability and coordinate with the sales team for timely replenishment. Implement planograms, promotional setups, and POS materials effectively. Ensure correct pricing, labeling, and FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation is strictly followed to avoid expiry and ensure product freshness. Basic understanding of LIFO (Last In, First Out). Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotional campaigns. Maintain strong relationships with store managers and retail staff. Prepare daily reports on outlet visits, stock status, and market feedback. Support product launches, promotions, and in-store marketing activities. Desired Candidate Profile 2–5 years of experience as an FMCG Merchandiser (Non-Food preferred). Good knowledge of Dubai retail market, including supermarkets and hypermarkets. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple outlets and work independently. Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory. Physically active and able to handle field-based work. Male candidates preferred due to job nature. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience with FMCG distributors or retail chains in the UAE. Knowledge of merchandising standards, planograms, and retail execution practices.
