Project: Mag Jupiter Job Title: Hydrotest Supervisor Location: Offshore Qatar Job Description: The Subsea Pipeline Pre-commissioning Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating all pre-commissioning activities for subsea pipelines, including flooding, cleaning, gauging, hydrotesting, dewatering, and nitrogen purging and packing. The role ensures safe, efficient, and technically compliant execution in accordance with QE LNG project specifications, procedures, safety standards, and schedule. Preferably, the candidate should have prior experience in QE LNG's onshore and offshore fields, with strong familiarity with project interfaces, operational standards, and regulatory requirements specific to the QE LNG environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise the execution of subsea pipeline pre-commissioning operations offshore as per approved procedures and project specifications. Ensure that the pre-commissioning spread is mobilized, tested, and operated in line with safety and operational requirements. Coordinate with pre-commissioning technicians/ operators/ mechanics, subcontractors, pre-commissioning engineer (s), and client representatives during operations. Monitor operation parameters such as pressure, flowrate, temperature, and chemical injection, ensuring accurate data logging and reporting. Verify readiness of equipment, consumables, and chemicals for each activity. Conduct toolbox talks and ensure compliance with PTW, HSE regulations, and company policies. Prepare onsite operational reports and compile pre-commissioning dossiers, including test records, calibration certificates, and reports. Report progress, deviations, and potential issues to pre-commissioning engineer and propose solutions. Lead troubleshooting during pre-commissioning anomalies or equipment issues. Qualifications and Experience: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Offshore, or Pipeline Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 8 years of experience in offshore pipeline pre-commissioning, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Strong communication skill in English language. In-depth knowledge of DNV-ST-F101, API standards, and other relevant international codes. Proven experience in managing large teams (30+ personnel) during pre-commissioning phases. Strong technical understanding of pre-commissioning equipment including suction pumps, flooding pumps, chemical injection units and associated troubleshooting. Familiarity with QE LNG project specifications and offshore operating practices is highly preferred. Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills with a safety-first mindset. What are we looking for Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Offshore, or Pipeline Engineering (or equivalent).
