Civil Foreman

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to supervise and coordinate civil construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, extensive site experience, and the ability to manage manpower, materials, and site operations effectively. The responsibilities will include but not limited to: Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities on-site. Read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and work plans. Allocate tasks and monitor the productivity of labourers, masons, carpenters, and other site workers. Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, project schedules, and quality standards. Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and project managers. Monitor material requirements and ensure timely availability of resources. Conduct site inspections and identify any deviations or safety concerns. Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site. Maintain daily progress reports and workforce attendance records. Ensure proper utilisation of equipment, tools, and construction materials. Resolve site-related issues and provide technical guidance to the workforce. Manage resource allocation and manpower planning to achieve project targets. Desired Candidate Profile Qualification: Tradesman Certificate or Equivalent. Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in the related field. Strong knowledge of civil construction works, finishing works, and structural activities. Skilled in reading and interpreting construction drawings. Proven experience in resource management and workforce supervision. Ability to coordinate multiple activities while meeting project deadlines. Good communication and leadership skills. Preferred Skills Site supervision and manpower management.
