Project Engineer Mechanical / Electrical

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, execution, and monitoring of project activities. Supervise and coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, utility, and machinery installation works executed by contractors. Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and support drafting revisions where required. Coordinate material requirements with the procurement team and ensure timely material availability at site. Ensure contractors execute work as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project schedule, and HSE requirements. Monitor daily site progress and contractor performance, and report any delays or issues to the Project Manager. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality assurance, compliance, and adherence to project specifications. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve technical and execution issues. Maintain project documentation, technical records, approvals, progress reports, and meeting minutes. Support machinery erection, installation, alignment, utility integration, testing, and commissioning activities. Identify project risks, technical issues, and delays, and recommend corrective actions to the Project Manager. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering. 3–5 years of experience in industrial project execution. Knowledge of machinery installation, utility systems, and multidisciplinary project coordination. Proficiency in engineering drawings, AutoCAD, BOQs, MS Office, and project documentation. Experience in the non-ferrous metal recycling industry will be preferred.
