Job Description Roles & Responsibilities About the Role: We are seeking a passionate Data Scientist to join our Mumbai office. In this role, you will leverage your 2-7 years of experience to build and deploy machine learning and deep learning models, perform statistical analysis, and derive actionable insights from large and complex datasets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges using advanced analytics and data-driven techniques. Responsibilities: Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models to solve business problems Perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to inform decision-making Build and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and transformation of large datasets Design and implement natural language processing solutions for text analytics use cases Develop interactive data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance Collaborate with software engineering and product teams to integrate models into production environments Leverage cloud computing platforms (AWS or Azure) for model training, deployment, and scaling Research and prototype new algorithms, tools, and frameworks to enhance analytics capabilities Document methodologies, experiments, and code to maintain reproducibility and knowledge sharing Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field 2-7 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or similar role Strong programming skills in Python and R Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, or similar) Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch Practical knowledge of natural language processing techniques and libraries Ability to create data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Matplotlib, or Seaborn Experience deploying and managing workloads on AWS or Azure Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field Experience with MLOps practices and model deployment tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar) Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with real-time data processing and streaming frameworks (Kafka, Spark Streaming) Domain expertise in finance, e-commerce, healthcare, or similar industries Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills Contributions to open source projects or publications in data science conferences Company Industry Other Department / Functional Area Other Keywords Data Scientist Get real-time job updates only on our App
