Accountant

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial transactions. Handle daily bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Perform bank, cash, and credit card reconciliations. Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports. Monitor receivables, payables, outstanding balances, and collections. Prepare and maintain VAT records and assist with UAE VAT return filing and FTA compliance. Verify invoices, receipts, payments, and supporting documents. Assist with payroll-related accounting and expense management. Monitor company expenses and ensure proper documentation and approvals. Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis. Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and other external parties when required. Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting and financial documents. Support management with other accounting and finance-related tasks as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. Minimum 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and FTA requirements. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software. Strong understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Good numerical and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information. Good English communication skills, both written and verbal. UAE accounting experience is preferred. Employment Type Full-time
