Accountant

Accountant Baghdad, Iraq We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents, following financial procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns, consult project team about accounting implementation and engage when necessary. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience working with different kind of businesses, bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we re compliant with all tax regulations. Manage all accounting transactions Prepare budget forecasts Reconcile accounts payable and receivable Ensure timely bank payments Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements Report on the company s financial health and liquidity Audit financial transactions and documents Comply with financial policies and regulations Engage with project teams

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor Degree or Higher in accounting, business administration or related fields Minimum 3 years of experience Perfect written English Have worked on ERP systems Advanced MS Excel skills including functions and pivot tables Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills Nice to have Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus Hands on experience with Odoo ERP is a plus Additional languages Working on project based accounting is a plus Strong analytical skills
